Our event takes place in the lovely countryside of Bungay on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders. Situated between the towns of Bungay and Halesworth, off the A144, the site is easy to find and all maps and directions will be sent with tickets.
Access to the site for general ticket-holders is from 2pm on Thursday. The event starts with an opening evening concert programme on the Thursday evening. The event ends at 12.30am on the Sunday evening.
You can stay over on the Sunday evening but we would request that you leave the site by midday on the Monday.
The World Music Workshop Festival offers you the option of camping or staying in local accommodation. For campers, we have ample space for tents, caravans or live-in vehicles. On site there will be ten portable toilets which will be serviced daily, together with ample water points for washing and water supplies. We also have a hot shower unit which will be available day and night throughout the event.
Cars are not allowed to remain in the camping area for reasons of safety, maximising the camping space and for ease of access on and off the site. Cars will be parked in the field next to the camping area so there's no real distance to access your cars for lock-up and valuables etc. We will make concessions on this for those with mobility issues, but please do contact the Festival Organisers in advance to make special arrangements. We normally allow cars into the camping field for unloading and loading, but in case of inclement weather there may be restricted access to the camping field for vehicles.
Note: we cannot provide electrical hook ups for live-in vehicles. Live-in vehicles will be segragated from tents to reduce the risk of fire.
For those not wanting to stay on-site, check out the alternative options here:
